The project added the CT department to the ED as well as two trauma beds, a cardiac room, three treatment rooms and a new large lab area.
The new ED is part of a $7 million upgrade of the entire hospital, a project that will not be complete for at least another year, according to the report. The next phase includes remodeling the medical-surgical inpatient rooms, the nurses’ station and front exit and the radiology department.
