Piedmont Medical Center to Move Ahead With $19.8M ER Expansion

Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, S.C., has received approval from Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare’s board of directors, its parent company, to begin a $19.8 million expansion of its emergency department, according to a report by The Charlotte Observer.

The 21,000-square-foot expansion will add 11 exam rooms to the ER, bringing the total to 37.

Construction is expected to begin as early as April, according to the report.
