Under the contract, Aetna members will maintain in-network access to all Piedmont Healthcare facilities and physicians. Piedmont has 2,300 physicians, 11 hospitals and more than 600 locations.
“By completing this new agreement so far ahead of schedule, both parties are demonstrating their strong commitment to our patients and their concerns that their access to healthcare will be preserved,” their press release reads.
