The consolidation is part of a proposed larger consolidation of services between the Bon Secours facility in Altoona and the Altoona Hospital, which merged in 2004 to create the Altoona Regional Health System, according to the report.
As part of the consolidation, imaging, pre-anesthesia evaluation, sleep lab, cardiac rehab, lab services and physical therapy will relocate from the individual hospitals to the Station Medical Center location.
The transfer of outpatient services is expected to be completed by 2010.
