Pediatric Outpatient Center Set to Open in Kentucky

Kosair Children’s Medical Center – Brownsboro, a pediatric outpatient center in Louisville, Ky., will open on May 26, according to parent company not-for-profit Norton Healthcare.

Features of the new facility include a 30,000-square-foot outpatient surgery center performing procedures in many specialties including ENT, orthopedics, eye, urinary, dental and general surgeries; a 15,000-square-foot pediatric diagnostic imaging area; and a 12,600-square-foot emergency department with 15 private treatment rooms, two trauma rooms, two triage rooms and a dedicated radiology suite.

The two-story, 71,300-square-foot, $50.3 million center, part of Kosair Children’s Hospital, will serve Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana.
