Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Kansas Expected to Break Ground Soon

Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned, Kan., formerly operated by Catholic Health Initiatives, will be undergoing an expansion, according to a Hays Daily News report.

After Catholic Health Initiatives unveiled plans to close the facility in 2010, local Hays Medical Center took over operations. The $18.3 million expansion will create a helicopter pad for emergency transports, increased patient privacy and more.
