Ochsner Health System Partners With University of Tabuk in Saudi Arabia

New Orleans-based Ochsner Health System announced a new long-term partnership with the University of Tabuk System in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Under the contract, faculty, staff and students from the Colleges of Medicine, Applied Medical Sciences and other healthcare-related disciplines at the University of Tabuk will receive education and training at Ochsner facilities in Louisiana. Ochsner will work with the University of Tabuk to design, develop and manage its tertiary hospital in Tabuk and its satellite referral centers in the region. In addition, Ochsner will develop research collaborations with faculty at the University of Tabuk and provide access to its fellowship program in hospital management.

Ochsner is developing similar contracts with other higher education institutions in the Middle East, according to the release.
