To improve healthcare access and communication for this demographic, St. Vincent Medical Center opened the Korean Pavilion for Korean-American patients.

The pavilion includes nurses who speak fluent Korean, Korean cuisine, Korean TV channels, Korean signage and a culturally sensitive facility design.
