New Milford Hospital Plans $10.8M ER

New Milford (Conn.) Hospital, a part of Danbury, Conn.-based Western Connecticut Health Network, announced that the health network has presented the New Milford Zoning Commission with plans for a $10.8 million emergency department at its facility.

The Arnhold Emergency Department will feature 15 new treatment rooms, two critical care rooms, a central nursing station and a surgical room.

If approved, the department is expected to be completed by 2014.
