New Jersey health system now in network with all major payers

Bayonne, N.J.-based CarePoint Health announced a participation agreement with Aetna, making the health system in network with all major insurers effective Aug. 1.

The health system’s three hospitals, Hoboken University Medical Center, Christ Hospital in Jersey City and Bayonne Medical Center, are currently in network with all other payers, according to a June 3 news release.

“With the recent opening of the Women’s Center and launch of CarePoint’s Innovation Center and Center for Personalized Health later this month, CarePoint will bring more choice and benefits to the residents of Hudson County,” the health system’s CEO, Achintya Moulick, MD, said in the statement.
