Orlando, Fla.-based Nemours Children’s Health and Studer Family Children’s Hospital – part of Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola (Fla.) — have partnered to improve access to specialty pediatric care across Northwest Florida.
Three notes:
1. Under the new strategic arrangement, Nemours Children’s will employ most pediatric subspecialists who will practice at Studer Family Children’s Hospital, according to a May 7 news release.
2. The collaboration is expected to enhance access to specialty care and novel treatments for patients with complex medical conditions.
3. Nemours Children’s Health is one of the nation’s largest pediatric health systems, operating two freestanding children’s hospitals and more than 70 primary and specialty care practices. Studer Family Children’s Hospital is part of St. Louis-based Ascension and is the only full-service children’s hospital in Northwest Florida.
