The new Lisa Stewart Women’s Health Center will have more exam rooms than the current women’s health center, allowing the facility to offer more outpatient services. In addition, the center will include a large multi-purpose room that will be open to the community for events, meetings and programs, according to the release.
The project will be funded through MDI Hospital’s Women’s Health Center Capital Campaign, which has raised more than $1.7 million.
The center is expected to be complete by late fall 2013.
