Kiowa District Hospital in Kansas Plans $8.2M New Facility

Kiowa (Kan.) District Hospital will break ground on a new, approximately $8.2 million facility next month, according to a Wichita Eagle report.

The new facility will have the same number of beds as the current critical access hospital — eight — but will add an operating suite and expand its emergency room.

The hospital expects to complete the project in 2014.
