Middle Tennessee Medical Center Land Sale Close to Finish

Middle Tennessee Medical Center, based in Murfreesboro, could be less than 90 days from closing on a $11.4 million sale of land to Middle Tennessee State University, according to a report by the Daily News Journal.

Local authorities agreed to the university’s purchase of the deal last summer, and leaders from MTMC and MTSU have said the sale is nearly complete.

MTMC demolished its former hospital building at the site last March after the medical center moved, hoping the land would sell better than the vacant facility.
