The release said the affiliation process is expected to be completed within the next four months. The announcement comes roughly one year after NMRHS terminated affiliation discussions with Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Spectrum Health.
“The key benefits of affiliating with McLaren include improved borrowing power and access to capital, economies of scale for purchasing, shared clinical expertise and human capital, increased efficiencies, and expanded access to quality care, all of which contribute to helping us achieve our mission — to provide healthcare as we expect for our own family,” NMRHS President and CEO Reezie DeVet said in the release.
