Gettysburg Hospital Nears Opening of New $18.1M ED

Gettysburg (Pa.) Hospital will open its new $18.1 million emergency department April 4, according to a Central Penn Business Journal report.

The expansion added 19,000 square feet to the ED, more than tripling its size. The new ED includes 18 additional private treatment rooms, a vending area, a pediatric waiting room and additional restrooms. The former emergency space will be converted into staff areas.
