LSU Opens Baton Rouge Urgent Care Clinic

Louisiana State University Health New Orleans has opened a $2.8 million urgent care facility in Baton Rouge, La., according to a report from The Advocate.

The 7,000-square-foot LSU Health Urgent Care Center will treat injuries from cuts and colds to broken bones and will replace the emergency room at LSU’s Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge, which closed April 2013.

The clinic is being operated by Baton Rouge-based Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, according to the report.
