Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Nebraska Begins $100M Expansion

Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte, Neb., has begun constructing a $100 million expansion, according to a North Platte Bulletin report.

The expansion will add a 210,000-square-foot building to house 116 private rooms, a conference center, an information technology area and a new sleep lab. The hospital will also update a cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation area and other spaces.

The new facility is expected to be completed by the spring or summer of 2015 and the renovations are expected to be finished the following year.
