Cadence Health in Illinois Submits CON for $27M Expansion

Winfield, Ill.-based Cadence Health, formed from the merger of Central DuPage Health and Delnor Health System, has submitted a certificate of need application for a $27 million expansion, according to a Crain’s Chicago Business report.

The project would increase the number of beds at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield by 8 percent, bringing the total to 338. In addition, the hospital would relocate its outpatient behavioral health programs closer to its mental health unit and build additional offices for physicians and administrators.
