Children’s Hospital of Orange County to Open $560M Tower

Children’s Hospital of Orange County in Orange, Calif., will soon open a $560 million expansion, according to an Orange County Register report.

The 426,000-square-foot, seven-story tower features all private rooms, seven operating rooms and a 31-bed emergency department. The oncology department includes a gym.

Construction of the tower began in fall 2009.  It is expected to be open by March 2013, according to the report.
