The Los Angeles-based hospital was chosen, in large part, because it unveiled 24 new electric vehicle charging stations in 2015. The stations are available to everyone working for or visiting the hospital.

Leeka, president and CEO of the hospital. “At the same time, Good Samaritan Hospital is proud to be on the forefront of providing new and innovative ways to improve the health and quality of life of our patients, community and environment.”
The Top Sustainability Award for Electrification of Transportation, which recognizes facilities that provide alternative fueling options, is part of a larger effort managed by the LADWP and the California Energy Commission.
