The system originally planned a $27 million expansion of the hospital’s mental health and intensive care units. The system now plans to only move forward with the ICU expansion.

Cadence still plans to move forward with its development of a $20 million cancer center at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, Ill.

Cadence was formed last year when Central DuPage and Delnor merged.
