The 40,000-square-foot, $33 million facility includes two cardiac catheterization labs, two open-heart surgery operating rooms and an admission and recovery unit with 12 private recovery bays.
Gwinnett Medical Center opened its catheterization labs this month and will launch its open-heart surgery program in January.
