The expansion will include two projects that are expected to create 250 construction jobs and 400 permanent jobs. The first project is an $80 million expansion to the hospital at the main campus. The hospital will expand from 730,000 square feet to 842,000 square feet and from 214 beds to 304 beds over the course of about 22 months.
The second project is a $16.7 million primary care clinic that would be staffed by 24 physicians and other personnel. Construction is scheduled to begin in late June with a completion date of the summer of 2013.
