The hospital’s current clinic is reportedly too small to handle an expansion of current services, which largely consist of emergency services, imaging and lab work, according to the report. The new clinic, which would cost $20 million-$25 million, would more than double the size of the current clinic and provide more space for current services with room to add others.
Middlesex Hospital officials hope to have the new clinic open in two years.
