DC Hospital to Join Johns Hopkins

Johns Hopkins Medicine has announced it will enter into discussions to integrate Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., into the Johns Hopkins Health System.

Sibley, a 328-bed acute care community hospital, is expected to join Johns Hopkins in fall 2010.

The transaction will not involve any financial exchanges.
