Children’s Hospital & Medical Center will renovate leased space in Methodist Hospital, located across the street from Children’s, to create separate operating rooms for the mother and the baby and a recovery room.
Children’s Hospital & Medical Center contracted with Omaha-based Alegent Health, which will provide staff with delivery expertise from its Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha, according to the report.
The center is expected to deliver roughly 10 to 12 babies a year beginning in November, according to the report.
