The 39,000-square-foot ED features more than 40 private exam and treatment rooms. It also includes an eight-room clinical decision unit, a 12-room acute-care unit, enclosed ambulance bays and multipurpose room that could be used to treat mass casualties.
The facility will open to patients Oct. 28, according to the report.
