Supply chain issues are behind the hospital’s delayed reopening, according to an Aug. 6 report from The Enterprise.
In the meantime, a spokesperson with the Brockton Neighborhood Health Center — which is now the only community health center in the area — has said since Brockton Hospital’s closure, the health center has seen primary care appointment wait times jump from four weeks to six, the Boston Globe reported Sept. 3.
Brockton Hospital has also detailed plans to resume wound care and infusion therapy services. In September, it hopes to offer outpatient surgeries and colonoscopies.
