Through the partnership, ZeOmega will provide health cloud services for CalOptima Health, focusing on social determinants of health, member health and care management. CalOptima is the third largest Medicaid plan in California and selected ZeOmega because of its experience with Medicaid, according to an Aug. 24 ZeOmega news release provided to Becker’s.

“Getting CalOptima Health up and running on health cloud will establish a solid foundation for meeting the needs of California’s Medi-Cal enrollees, including those underserved communities that are most vulnerable to social determinants of health,” ZeOmega Chief Medical Officer David Sand, MD, said. “We look forward to building on that foundation over time, to broaden our range of services and solutions in these communities.”

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
