Under the contract, Framingham, Mass.-based Virgin Pulse will provide BCBSRI’s more than 450,000 members access to its global online solution and wellness tools. The platform will offer members individual content based on preferences, multi-device compatibility, ability to set “challenges” to meet health milestones, health tracking tools and health-risk assessments.

Employers will be able to use data from the wellness program to measure employee impact and engagement.

The wellness program will be available to members late 2017.
