Alamance Regional Med Center Moves Forward With $62.5M Expansion

Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, N.C., has received approval from the Burlington City Council for its rezoning request and can now break ground on its $62.5 million expansion project, according to a report by The Times-News.

The hospital’s plans to expand hinged on it being allowed to rezone its campus. The project will include additional operating rooms, a larger emergency department and a two-story addition to expand the current cancer center, according to the report.
