Marian Regional Medical Center in California Readies Opening of New $218M Facility

The new $218 million Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, Calif., will open March 27, according to a Tribune report.

The 235,000-square-foot, 191-bed facility is twice the size of the former building and includes an expanded emergency department and critical care unit as well as a 21-bed neonatal intensive care unit.

Construction of the hospital, which is part of Dignity Health of the Central Coast, began in 2008.
