Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary, La., and Baton Rouge (La.) General have announced a plan to build a $3.5 million radiation oncology center on the Lane campus, according to a Zachary Today report.
The joint venture center, the first nationally accredited cancer center in the area, is expected to be finished in the late fall.
