2 systems partner on behavioral health hospitals

Indianapolis-based Community Health Network partnered with Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Behavioral Health to create two new inpatient behavioral health hospitals in the greater Indianapolis area.

Construction on the 120-bed facilities is expected to begin in early 2026, according to a Feb. 18 system news release. Upon completion, Lifepoint Behavioral will manage day-to-day operations.

The joint venture is part of the systems’ plan to expand their existing network to encompass behavioral healthcare, according to the release.

Lifepoint Behavioral Health is a business unit of Lifepoint Health.
