Virginia Hospital Center (Arlington). Virginia Hospital Center was named to the Truven Health Analytics 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals list for 2015. In 1964, the hospital established the first coronary unit in its area and the third overall in the nation. Two decades ago, the hospital developed one of the area’s first cardiac rehabilitation programs. Virginia Hospital Center is also a Magnet hospital recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
