UPMC Horizon’s has opened a new cancer center at its Shenango Valley Campus in Farrell, Penn., and began accepting patients yesterday, according to a UPMC Horizon news release.
The center adds radiation oncology services to the UPMC Horizon’s cancer program, including a state-of-the-art linear accelerator, which delivers precise doses of radiation in a shorter amount of time than traditional technology.
UPMC Horizon is affiliated with UPMC Cancer Centers, which is recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of 30 hospitals with great oncology programs.
