UChicago opens medical clinic in downtown Chicago

The University of Chicago Medicine will open an $8 million, 18,000-square-foot clinic in the city’s South Loop area Feb. 21.

The Center for Advanced Care at South Loop will offer primary care, women’s health, orthopedic and urology services, as well as weight management and obesity treatments and minor surgical procedures. The center will also offer patients other conveniences, such as same-day appointments, onsite parking, self check-in and easy access to public transportation.

More than 30 physicians, nurses, phlebotomists, medical assistants and other medical staff will work at the location.
