Mr. Kumar has worked for Sutter Health since 2004. Most recently, he served as interim CEO of Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento. Prior to that, he served as COO of Sutter Roseville (Calif.) Medical Center. At Memorial Medical, Mr. Kumar succeeds former CEO James Conforti, who became regional president of the Sutter Health Sacramento Region in March.
