The hospital’s development team is hosting a $10 million fundraising campaign, and the facility will also benefit from $24 million in Trinity Health capital funds.
St. Joseph Mercy’s current cancer facility, the Robert H. and Judy Dow Alexander Cancer Center, treats 3,400 patients a year, three times as many patients as when the facility opened in 1993.
“This new state-of-the-art facility will help cancer patients and their families by combining the very best in prevention, screening, research, treatment and support all in one location,” said Dave Brooks, president of St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor.
