Piedmont Medical Center unveils new facility

Fort Mill, S.C.-based Piedmont Medical Center has opened its new 200,000-square-foot hospital, NBC affiliate WCNC reported Sept. 7

The new facility includes an emergency department, an intensive care unit and a labor and delivery unit. It has 12 emergency room beds, 10 labor and delivery rooms and six multi-specialty operating rooms. 

Currently, the hospital is having trouble filling all 500 positions it requires. It will operate at full capacity once these positions are filled.
