PeaceHealth hospital wraps modernization project

Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth’s Sacred Heart Medical Center in Springfield, Ore., has completed its modernization project of its campus.

The renovation included removing four vacant buildings, including an inpatient behavioral health unit and a wing of the hospital, and replacing them with a 100,000-square-foot lawn, according to an Oct. 11 news release. 

The hospital also updated its lobby and added a new chapel, gift shop and dining area.
