The project includes four 800-foot surgical suites — one built for a $2 million surgical robot — a 28-bed pre- and post-operation area and a centered sterile supply area. The pharmacy and other departments will also see adjustments.
The medical center is owned by Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare.
Groundbreaking is set for Oct. 18, with the first suites slated to open at the start of next year.
