Columbus-based The Ohio State University has received $10 million from Stan and Joan Ross toward its new Wexner Medical Center inpatient tower.
The 26-story, 820-private room hospital is expected to open in early 2026. It will support research, clinical care and interdisciplinary teaching, according to a May 22 news release shared with Becker’s.
The Ross family previously donated $10 million to The Ohio State University in 2015 to develop the Stanley D. and Joan H. Ross Center for Brain Health and Performance at Ohio State. The hospital’s 14th floor, which will house the neurology program, will be named after the Ross family, pending board of trustee approval in August.
