Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee (Okla.) will open a seven-story, $286.6 million patient tower Dec. 5. The hospital is part of Tulsa, Okla.-based Saint Francis Health System.
The tower adds 290,000 square feet to the hospital and comprises larger patient rooms, upgraded infrastructure and clinical technology, a new main entrance and an expansive public lobby, according to a Dec. 3 news release shared with Becker’s. The facility aims to improve clinical workflows and enhance patient experience.
Saint Francis Health System took over the Muskogee hospital in 2017 and began construction on the patient tower in 2022.
The patient tower expansion will support more than 100 jobs and deliver more than $25 million in yearly economic output for Muskogee County, according to an analysis by the Tulsa Regional Chamber.
Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee will move patients into the new tower within the next few weeks.
