New York State Sen. Joseph Griffo helped secure the funding. Norwich, N.Y.-based UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital also received $21 million for capital projects.
“Rome Memorial Hospital is a critical component of our community and region, and I am pleased that it has received more than $26 million in funding through the Statewide Health Care Facility Transformation Program. This significant funding will help to enhance the exceptional healthcare services that the hospital provides to the city and region,” Mr. Griffo said.
