New York City hospital snags federal funds for ER renovation

New York City-based Interfaith Medical Center received $3 million in federal funds to upgrade its emergency room, Patch reported May 30.

U.S. Rep. Hakeem Jefferies, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and Sen. Chuck Schumer announced the capital commitment. The money was secured in the 2022 government funding package.

The renovations will focus on technology, infrastructure and layout improvements.
