Population growth and higher patient volume led to the decision to expand.
“This will be transformational to our community and our team members working in the ER,” a spokesperson for the hospital told the publication. “We recently partnered with a design firm to deliver plan drawings based on surveys our team members have weighed in on to provide the best care in a safe and efficient manner.”
The hospital plans to expand its urology, endocrinology, pulmonology and nephrology at a medical office building adjacent to the facility. It is also forming more partnerships with physicians in the area.
Construction is slated to begin in 2024 or 2025.
