Twenty patients were moved from a previous facility to the new one before its opening. While inpatient services have begun at William Beaumont, other clinical services will continue to move into the new $1.4 billion hospital through July 23.
William Beaumont’s opening was delayed in March after safety concerns were voiced by hospital personnel training and in surveys from external agencies, according to the report.
