The additions will bring the hospital’s bed count to 77, the newspaper reported. There will be no expansion to the building; existing space will be repurposed to fit the beds.
The additions likely will be completed by fall 2024.

University Hospital in Columbia, Mo., is adding 16 beds to its emergency department, the Columbia Missourian reported Nov. 10.
